Reading

Emily St. Aubert is safely out of Udolpho, and I read GKC on Shakespeare, and now have started Where Angels Fear to Tread. Reading Aeneid 6 (in Elysium), Iliad 3, Is. 43, and Rev. 16. Had a marvelous day yesterday wherein I translated in the morning, played an orchestra sectional downtown, then had beer and roast beef sandwiches with the section. I read duets in the catacombs of Eastman Theatre (which I didn't even know existed) with a senior there and talked about politics and Catholicism, and then had a date with J in the evening. It was briefly sunny and green, but winter has returned with vigor today. Perhaps this is just as well; all of the garbage that lay buried all winter was blowing across the highways in the strong wind!
